Pondicherry, India: While Mary is cooking for us in her light flooded kitchen another style of cooking is to be found out in the streets of Pondi. These friendly people called upon me to sit down though i declined the food they were offering me. Only later i noticed that they did not cook for themselves – in fact the money jar can be seen in the middle of their circle. However, they did not mind but were happy with me taking pictures of them and their ‘street restaurant’.
